Meet Our Adaptive Curriculum Team!
Mrs. Moorman- Mrs. Moorman grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia and graduated from Jefferson Forest High School. She completed my Bachelor's in Psychology from Liberty University. Mrs. Moorman worked with adults with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings including group homes, in-home services, supported employment, support coordinator, and a program manager of a day support. When she started to build her family, she began a career shift by working toward my Master's degree from Radford University, and has her teaching license endorsement in Special Education, Adapted Curriculum. She has three prior years of teaching experience, and this is her second year at LRES. Mrs. Moorman is so excited to see the progress she can make with her amazing students! Outside of school, some of her hobbies include gardening, party planning, home design, traveling and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Willis-Mrs. Willis is going into her 9th year teaching within the county, 10th year overall. She attended Liberty University for her undergrad degree in Special Education. She lives with her husband, their children, their two cats, and their bearded dragon. Her favorite school activities are skill-building, decoding, and math games. Mrs. Willis also loves being at the beach, reading, and spending time with her family."
